A severe road traffic accident in the Salyan district of Azerbaijan has resulted in three fatalities, according to the latest updates from the scene. The incident, which involved a collision between a Toyota and a VAZ vehicle, occurred at approximately 18:00 local time.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reported that while two individuals died at the scene, a third victim succumbed to their injuries after being transported to the hospital, despite the efforts of medical personnel. The deceased have been identified as residents of Shorsulu village: Elnur Faiq oglu Ahmadov, Ilkin Gismat oglu Gasimov, and Nizami Hasanagha oglu Gasimov. Three other individuals—Alifagha Elsevar oglu Humbatov, Rahmiyya Rahman gizi Mammadova, and Vugar Tahir oglu Asadov—sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
