Temperature in Baku to drop by 3-4 degrees next week

Over the coming week, air temperatures in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula are expected to decrease by 3-4 degrees Celsius, driven by the prevalence of the north-westerly Khazri wind.

This information was provided to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the National Hydrometeorological Service. Officials noted that during this period, the maximum temperature is forecasted to range between 32-35 degrees Celsius.

The Khazri wind is a characteristic feature of the climate in the Absheron Peninsula, often bringing cooler air from the Caspian Sea to the capital region. Such fluctuations are common during the summer months in Azerbaijan, as meteorological services continuously monitor atmospheric pressure and wind patterns to provide accurate forecasts for the public and agricultural sectors.
