A serious road accident occurred yesterday in Baku’s Garadagh district.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that Ibrahim Ibrahimov, son of Arzu, struck a pedestrian in front of the Absheron Trade Center while driving a VAZ 21154 under a power of attorney. The pedestrian was trying to cross the road from right to left.
Afser Ahmadov, son of Akbar, born in 1946, suffered serious injuries and died in hospital.
A criminal case has been opened, and a preliminary investigation is underway at the Garadagh District Police Department.
