A fatal traffic accident occurred in Azerbaijan's Zardab district on Tuesday morning, resulting in the deaths of two people. The incident was recorded on the section of the Zardab–Kurdamir highway passing through the village of Alvand.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that a passenger vehicle veered off the road and overturned into a water canal. According to eyewitnesses, two individuals died at the scene, while four others sustained various injuries. Local police and emergency medical teams were immediately dispatched to the area to provide assistance and recover the victims.
Authorities are currently working to identify the deceased and the injured individuals. An official investigation has been launched by the relevant departments to determine the exact cause of the accident, including potential factors such as speed, mechanical failure, or road conditions.
