Strong winds are expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as some regions, from the evening of November 5 until the morning of November 6.
"Operativ Məlumat Mərkəzi-OMM" reports that the National Hydrometeorology Service has issued yellow and orange warnings for the expected windy conditions.
Under the orange warning, northwesterly winds are expected in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, Neftchala, Salyan, Hajigabul, Mingachevir, Naftalan, Goranboy, Dashkasan and Aghstafa, with speeds reaching 20.8-28.4 m/s.
Under the yellow warning, westerly winds are expected in Kalbajar, Lachin, Jabrayil, Zangilan, Guba, Gusar, Khachmaz, Shabran, Siyazan, Khizi, Shamakhi, Gobustan, Bilasuvar, Jalilabad, Lerik, Yardimli, Gazakh, Tovuz, Shamkir, Ganja, Samukh, Goygol, Gadabay, Shirvan, Yevlakh, Tartar, Aghdam and Barda, with speeds of 13.9-20.7 m/s.
