The Vessel Traffic Management Center of the State Maritime and Port Agency has warned ships about windy weather.
According to information provided by the agency to “Operative Information Center-OMM”, northwesterly and northerly winds forecast in the Caspian Sea on November 8 are expected to continue through November 9.
Wind speeds are expected to reach 18-23 m/s, with gusts of 25-30 m/s and up to 32 m/s in the open sea. Waves are forecast to reach 2.5-3.5 meters, rising to 4-6 meters later.
