The AFFA Disciplinary Committee has fined Qarabag a total of 4,500 manats over incidents during its away match against Gabala in the 10th round of the Misli Premier League. The game ended 0-0.
After the match, Qarabag supporters used pyrotechnics, resulting in a 3,000-manat fine for the club.
The club was fined a further 1,500 manats because the lettering of player Zakaria Savo’s name on his jersey included a character not found in the Azerbaijani alphabet.
Gabala will pay a 1,000-manat fine for the presence of unauthorized individuals in the “Zone 1” area.
