Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi visited Khvicha Kvaratskhelia at the clinic after the winger underwent surgery for a serious injury. The Georgian footballer said the operation had gone well and shared a photo of the meeting on his social media account.
Kvaratskhelia suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury during Paris Saint-Germain’s 4-2 win over Barcelona in the third round of the Champions League league phase.
Paris Saint-Germain has not said when the winger will return to action. Rehabilitation from this type of injury typically takes about six to nine months.
