Prime Minister Ali Asadov has held a telephone conversation with Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
This was reported to the Operative Information Center-OMM by the Cabinet of Ministers.
"The heads of government exchanged detailed views on the main directions of Azerbaijan-Russia interaction and the promotion of joint initiatives in a number of areas," the statement said.
It was noted that both sides confirmed their mutual interest in the consistent development of bilateral cooperation across a wide range of areas.
Azerbaijan and Russia maintain a strategic partnership characterized by high-level political dialogue and extensive economic ties. The two nations cooperate closely in sectors such as energy, transport, and logistics, particularly within the framework of the North-South International Transport Corridor, which is a key infrastructure project connecting the two countries and the broader region.
