President Ilham Aliyev has strongly condemned the recent terror act against Azerbaijan, stating that those responsible for the incident will face severe consequences.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the head of state made these remarks during a meeting of the Security Council. "These dishonorable people, those who committed this act of terror against us, will regret it. They should not test our strength. The heads of those who wanted to test our strength were crushed by the 'Iron Fist.' Today's event will yield the same result," President Ilham Aliyev emphasized.
The President further noted that a comprehensive action plan is being developed in response to the situation. "All necessary instructions have been given. The Iranian ambassador to Azerbaijan was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a note of protest will be issued, and other diplomatic steps will be taken. Relevant instructions regarding the borders have also been provided," the head of state added.
The Security Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a consultative body under the President that coordinates efforts to ensure the nation's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and internal stability. In recent years, Azerbaijan has significantly strengthened its national security apparatus and diplomatic protocols to address regional challenges and protect its diplomatic missions abroad. The reference to the "Iron Fist" symbolizes the country's military resolve and readiness to defend its national interests against any external threats or provocations.
