According to Operative Information Center-OMM, citing foreign media, footage shared on social media platforms depicts scenes of widespread panic at the site. Witnesses reported seeing people fleeing the area as emergency responders arrived to assist the wounded lying on the ground.

Abdul Matin Qani, the spokesperson for the Afghan Ministry of Interior, confirmed the incident, stating that there are both fatalities and injuries following the blast. While the exact cause of the explosion remains under investigation, security forces have cordoned off the perimeter to conduct a forensic analysis. Detailed information regarding the scale of the damage and the final casualty count is expected to be released shortly.
