On June 9, police officers discovered and confiscated one automatic weapon, four rifles, one magazine, and 39 cartridges in Baku and various districts across the country.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to conduct operational and preventive measures aimed at identifying and removing illegally held firearms and ammunition from circulation. These efforts are part of a broader, ongoing initiative by law enforcement agencies in Azerbaijan to ensure public safety and maintain order by curbing the illegal possession of weapons, which remains a priority for the state security apparatus.
