Rovshan Muradov, the Secretary General of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC), has passed away.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the organization announced the news via its official "X" (formerly Twitter) account.
Muradov reportedly died suddenly in Istanbul, where he was attending a significant international conference to represent the NGIC. The center expressed its deep condolences regarding his unexpected passing.
The Nizami Ganjavi International Center, headquartered in Baku, is a prominent cultural and political platform that promotes dialogue, tolerance, and learning. It is named after the legendary Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi and frequently organizes high-level global forums, including the Global Baku Forum, which brings together world leaders, Nobel laureates, and experts to discuss pressing international issues.
