The Israeli military has expanded its operations in southern Lebanon, striking more than 40 Hezbollah targets within the last 24 hours.
The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Israeli army's press service confirmed the destruction of various military infrastructure sites, including command and control centers. According to the official statement, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are acting in accordance with instructions from the country's political leadership to neutralize threats against both civilians and military personnel.
The escalation comes amid heightened regional tensions following months of cross-border skirmishes between Israel and Hezbollah.
