Iran has carried out an attack on fuel tanks located in the Muharraq province in northern Bahrain.
According to Operative Information Center-OMM, the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Bahrain released an official statement regarding the incident.
The Ministry stated that Iran deliberately targeted fuel tanks at a facility within the Muharraq province. As of now, no official information has been released regarding potential destruction, material damage, or casualties resulting from the strike.
The Muharraq province is a vital administrative and economic region in Bahrain, housing the country's international airport and significant industrial infrastructure. This incident occurs amid heightened regional tensions and follows a series of security concerns regarding the safety of energy infrastructure in the Persian Gulf. Bahrain, a key maritime hub and host to the U.S. Navy's 5th Fleet, has frequently raised concerns over external interference in its domestic security and critical assets.
