Azerbaijan and Germany have broad opportunities to develop bilateral cooperation.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that this was stated in a social media post by the German Embassy regarding a meeting between Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department at the Presidential Administration, and Germany’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Dirk Lölke.
“The economy, education, peace and security, as well as other important issues, were the main topics of the introductory meeting held yesterday by Germany’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Dirk Lölke with Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department at the Presidential Administration,” the post said.
According to the diplomatic mission, both sides highlighted the broad opportunities for German-Azerbaijani cooperation during the meeting.
“We thank you for the open and constructive exchange of views,” the post added.
Azerbaijan and Germany maintain diplomatic relations and cooperate across political, economic, educational and other areas. Meetings between officials serve as a platform for discussing bilateral ties and regional issues.
