Measures are continuing to manage passenger flows efficiently, adjust intervals on routes and ease congestion at transport hubs.

The Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA), under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, told “Operative Information Center-OMM”, the center reports.

According to the information, regular bus services are being reorganized around the “20 Yanvar” metro station and in the area known as “Shamakinka” to make it easier for passengers to board and alight without obstruction.

For this purpose, starting November 2, routes 102, 130, 142 and 159 will no longer stop at the existing stop beside Notary Office No. 14 on Moscow Avenue, near the “20 Yanvar” metro station, in the direction of Sumgait.

Passengers travelling toward Khojasan and Sulutepe settlements can board routes 102 and 159 at the existing terminal stop by the “20 Yanvar” metro station exit on Muzaffar Hasanov Street, opposite the ADSEA building, or at the stop in the “Shamakinka” area, opposite the “Alov” plant.

Passengers on routes 130 and 142 can use the “Azerbaijanfilm Film Studio” stop on Moscow Avenue, near the “20 Yanvar” metro station. The next stop for these routes toward Lokbatan settlement and Masazir village is the existing stop in the “Shamakinka” area, opposite the “Alov” plant.

As part of measures to optimize traffic on bus routes, services 114A, 114B, 500, 503 and 508 were previously moved from the stop beside Notary Office No. 14 on Moscow Avenue.

The measures aim to improve traffic efficiency in the capital’s road and transport infrastructure, speed up public transport and help passengers reach their destinations more comfortably.
