Four inspectors appointed to investigate attack near school in Manisa

Türkiye’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched a comprehensive investigation into the armed attack near İnci Üzmez Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Turgutlu district of Manisa.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the ministry’s press service issued an official statement on the matter.

The ministry said that immediately after the incident, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and all relevant state institutions took prompt action. Security forces and judicial authorities are continuing comprehensive investigative measures to clarify all details of the incident and ensure that the perpetrator or perpetrators are brought to justice.

To conduct a thorough and objective investigation into all aspects of the incident, the ministry appointed two civil administration chief inspectors and two police chief inspectors, who were immediately dispatched to Manisa.

At the end of its statement, the Ministry of Internal Affairs wished a speedy recovery to the students injured in the attack, whose treatment is continuing at various medical facilities.
