The process of selecting schools and teachers for children who missed first-grade enrollment for valid reasons will begin on Sept. 16, covering vacant places at general education institutions for the 2026-2027 academic year.
The State Agency for Preschool and General Education told the Operative Information Center-OMM.
The electronic enrollment process will run from 11:00 a.m. on Sept. 16 until 3:00 p.m. on Sept. 30.
Parents who submit an application for their children through the mektebeqebul.edu.az portal during the specified period may visit the relevant school with the required documents and complete the enrollment process.
The agency noted that the electronic enrollment process will apply only to children whose first-grade registration was delayed for valid reasons and for whom an application was submitted through the electronic system within the designated period.
More than 124,000 children have been enrolled in first grade for the 2026-2027 academic year to date.
First-grade enrollment is conducted through an electronic system to help parents select schools and complete admission procedures. Applicants should review the portal requirements and submit the necessary documents within the announced deadlines.
