A drone attack on a passenger bus in Ukraine’s Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia region killed one person and injured 30, AnewZ reported. Russian-appointed Governor Yevgeny Balitsky said the casualties were caused by the attack.
A separate, localized ceasefire has begun around the Russian-occupied city of Oleshky in Ukraine’s Kherson region. Russia said it had halted fire in the Kherson direction from 4 a.m. Moscow time on Tuesday to allow humanitarian aid deliveries and the evacuation of civilians.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said the city’s Southern Bridge and metro infrastructure running across it were damaged during Tuesday’s attack.
City officials said traffic on the bridge was suspended after the attack.
