Ceyhun Hajibeyli Street to close for two days in Baku

The road surface will be restored in the section of Ceyhun Hajibeyli Street where excavation work was carried out to install underground utility lines.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the Azerbaijan State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (AAYDA) issued the statement.

The agency said intensive work would be conducted over the weekend to complete the repair and restoration work as quickly as possible.

“Accordingly, traffic will be temporarily restricted from 11 p.m. on Sept. 18 until 2 a.m. on Sept. 20 along the section of Ceyhun Hajibeyli Street in Baku’s Nasimi district stretching from Anvar Gasimzade Street to Hanifa Alasgarov Street. Drivers are asked to use alternative routes during the specified period and show understanding toward the ongoing work,” the statement said.

Temporary traffic restrictions are commonly introduced in Baku to allow road maintenance and utility works to be carried out safely and completed within a limited timeframe.
