The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the official list of machinery, technological equipment, and installations imported by the managing organizations and operators of industrial and technology parks that are exempt from value-added tax (VAT) and customs duties.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a new decree formalizing these regulations.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister has signed a separate decision approving the list of machinery, technological equipment, and installations imported by residents of industrial and technology parks that are also exempt from VAT and customs duties.
These regulatory updates are part of the broader strategy implemented by the Republic of Azerbaijan to foster a favorable investment climate and stimulate the development of the non-oil sector. By providing tax and customs incentives, the government aims to attract both domestic and foreign investors to industrial zones, thereby enhancing local production capabilities and technological advancement within the country.
