Dayot Upamecano opened the scoring in the 16th minute, and Serge Gnabry doubled Bayern’s lead in the 42nd. Tom Bischof scored an own goal in the 82nd minute. Michael Olise sealed the result in the 90+5th minute.
The win took Bayern to 17 points. Borussia Dortmund also have 17 points. Freiburg sit third in the standings with 13 points.
