Bayern beat RB Leipzig 6-1 in the sixth round of the German Bundesliga. Tobias Stieler, from Hamburg, was the referee for the match, played at Munich Arena on October 17.
Luis Diaz scored a hat-trick, finding the net in the 12th, 47th and 69th minutes. Aleksandar Pavlovic scored in the 26th minute, Michael Olise in the 34th and Harry Kane in the 53rd. Maksimovic scored RB Leipzig’s only goal in the 90+1st minute.
“The first 60 minutes were very good. We could have scored more in the first half. We also started the second half with a lot of confidence. The last 30 minutes were not bad, but the first 60 minutes were on a completely different level. I’m very happy for Luis. He really deserved it. Although he missed a few chances at the start of the season, he produced outstanding results last season. He played a great game today and was undoubtedly the best player in the match,” the Munich club’s official website quoted Kimmich as saying.
