Azerbaijani cargo aircraft conducts flights to Israel

A Silk Way Airlines Ilyushin Il-76TD-90VD cargo aircraft has completed five flights between Azerbaijan and Israel over the past five days, according to reports.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that, based on available data, these flights were directed to the Nevatim airbase, which is considered one of Israel's largest military facilities.

It should be noted that since the beginning of this year, Silk Way Airlines aircraft have conducted at least 57 flights between Azerbaijan and Israel. This frequency underscores the robust and ongoing logistics and cargo transportation cooperation between the two nations.

Azerbaijan and Israel maintain a strategic partnership characterized by strong economic, energy, and defense cooperation. The consistent air bridge between Baku and Israel facilitates the exchange of goods and logistics support, reflecting the deepening bilateral ties that have expanded significantly in recent years across various sectors.
