The amounts of the living minimum and the needs threshold have been increased in next year’s budget.
Musa Guliyev, chairman of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) Committee on Labor and Social Policy, told Operative Information Center-OMM.
He said the living minimum and the needs threshold would both be 314 manat next year:
“The living minimum and the upper limit of the needs threshold will increase by 14 manat from the current amount. For four years now, the needs threshold has been equal to the living minimum, and this will continue. This is a positive indicator.”
The living minimum and the needs threshold were previously set at 300 manat.
