In addition to Baku, the Digital School platform is being introduced in five more cities and districts across Azerbaijan.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Education Minister Emin Amrullayev made the announcement at a news conference on the new academic year.

He said the number of schools covered by the platform would increase from 349 to approximately 550:

“The platform will also be introduced in Ganja, Sumgait, Nakhchivan, Mingachevir and Absheron. More than 900,000 users, including principals, teachers, students and parents, currently use the platform. In addition, more than 44,000 students have been given access to artificial intelligence tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini and NotebookLM.”

The Digital School platform is designed to support communication and education management by bringing together schools, teachers, students and parents through digital services. The expanded coverage is expected to increase access to technology-enabled learning across Azerbaijan.
