The certification exams for teachers in Azerbaijan are scheduled to take place from June 17 to June 25. This phase marks a significant step in the national educational assessment framework aimed at enhancing teaching standards across the country.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Eshgi Bagirov, Director of the State Agency for Preschool and General Education, announced the dates during a press briefing. Bagirov noted that with this upcoming round, the total number of teachers involved in the certification process will exceed 100,000. He further clarified that the certification for preschool educational institutions is planned for October, marking the conclusion of the process for the current year.
The teacher certification process in Azerbaijan was initiated to improve the quality of education and ensure that teaching staff meet modern pedagogical standards. Successful completion of these exams often leads to salary increments and professional development opportunities for educators.
