Admission has been announced to vacant places at secondary specialized education institutions for applicants with a full (11-year) secondary education background.
The State Examination Center (SEC) provided the information to the “Operative Information Center-OMM”.
According to the information, applicants will be able to select majors for vacant places at secondary specialized education institutions from Sept. 23 through 27.
Applicants may participate in the competition for admission to vacant places if they have a total score of at least 50, with scores of at least 10 in each of the language of instruction (Azerbaijani or Russian) and mathematics. No minimum score requirement applies to the foreign language subject.
Applicants seeking admission to majors requiring special abilities must have a total score of at least 40 and receive a “pass” grade in the aptitude examinations conducted by the relevant commission. No subject-specific score requirement applies in this case.
Major selection will be conducted online until 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 27. During this stage, applicants must select the majors they wish to enter, enter their codes in the “Applicant’s electronic major selection application” and confirm the application.
Secondary specialized education institutions, commonly known as colleges in Azerbaijan, provide professional and technical training after general secondary education. Vacant places are offered through an additional competition after the primary admission process.
