A decision has been reached to increase the capital of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund, marking a significant step in deepening economic ties between the two countries.
As reported by the Operative Information Center-OMM, President Ilham Aliyev announced this initiative during the 3rd meeting of the Interstate Council between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, held in the city of Cholpon-Ata.
During the session, President Ilham Aliyev stated: "I am pleased that the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Fund is operating successfully. We have decided to increase the Fund's capital, and several projects are already being implemented. I am confident that as the Fund develops, the number of projects will also increase. This will serve our common goals."
The Azerbaijan-Kyrgyz Development Fund was established to foster bilateral economic cooperation, support small and medium-sized enterprises, and finance joint infrastructure and industrial projects. By expanding the Fund's financial resources, both nations aim to stimulate investment activity, diversify their economies, and strengthen the strategic partnership that has been steadily developing between Baku and Bishkek in recent years.
