President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the letter states:
“Dear Sadyr Nurgojoyevich,
On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the independence of the brotherly Kyrgyz Republic, I extend my most sincere congratulations and best wishes to you and, through you, to your entire people on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan.
Today, under your leadership, Kyrgyzstan has achieved significant milestones in strengthening statehood, socio-economic progress, and large-scale development, gaining great prestige in the international arena. As a brotherly nation, we rejoice in Kyrgyzstan’s successes as if they were our own.
It is gratifying that the relations between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, bound by traditional ties of friendship and brotherhood, have developed year by year, reaching the level of alliance and acquiring new substance. My recent state visit to your hospitable country demonstrated our nations’ determination for close partnership and a broad agenda of cooperation, laying the foundation for a new stage in the history of Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan relations.
I am confident that the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan relations and alliance will continue to develop and strengthen along an upward trajectory through our joint efforts, in line with the interests of our peoples.
On this festive day, I wish you robust health, happiness, and success in your high state activities, and I wish the brotherly Kyrgyz Republic lasting peace and prosperity.”
