A total of 16 families, consisting of 63 people, have returned to the Girmizi Bazar settlement in the Khojavand district as part of the ongoing relocation program. The arrival of the latest migration caravan marks another step in the restoration of permanent residency in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that a ceremony was held to present apartment keys to the returning residents. The event was attended by officials from the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavand districts, as well as representatives from the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons.

The resettlement is a key component of the "Great Return" state program, which aims to facilitate the safe and dignified return of former internally displaced persons to their ancestral lands. Following the liberation of these territories, the government of Azerbaijan has launched large-scale infrastructure projects, including the construction of modern residential complexes, schools, and hospitals, to ensure sustainable living conditions and economic development throughout the Garabagh region.
