Biography

Yashar Allahgulu oglu Amashov was born on November 3, 1976, in the Jalilabad district. In 1997–1998, he worked as a teacher at a secondary school in Jalilabad; in 1998–2000, he performed active military service as an officer in the Armed Forces.

From 2000 to 2018, he worked in the Milli Majlis Administration as a consultant, senior consultant, chief consultant, sector head and deputy head of department. In 2018–2019, he served as a chief consultant in the Department for Innovative Development and E-Government Issues of the Presidential Administration, and later in the Department for Economic Issues and Innovative Development Policy. In 2019–2020, he was head of the Milli Majlis Relations Sector in the Department for Relations with Political Parties and the Legislative Branch. On May 8, 2020, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Milli Majlis Administration.

On April 9, 2026, by Order of the President, he was appointed First Deputy Head of the State Service for Special Communication and Information Security; by another Order, he was awarded the highest military rank of major general. In 2022, he was awarded the “For Distinction in Public Service” medal.
