Sahib Nuraddin oglu Alakbarov

Born in 1952.

From 1974, he worked as an engineer at the Bilajari junction of Azerbaijan Railways; from 1975 to 1996, he held various positions in Komsomol and party bodies, and from 1996 to 2005, in the private sector. He was a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Azerbaijan SSR and chairman of a commission for two convocations. From 2005 to 2009, he served as head of the Executive Authority of Baku City's Sabail District, and from June 2009, as Deputy Chairman of the State Statistics Committee.

By Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 2 July 2010, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Taxes, and by Order dated 1 April 2020, Deputy Minister of Economy.

He graduated from the Azerbaijan Institute of Oil and Chemistry in 1972 and the Moscow Academy of Social Sciences in 1984.
