Rashad Sahil oglu Ismayilov

Rashad Sahil oglu Ismayilov was born on August 27, 1979. He graduated from the bachelor's and master's programs in law at Baku State University.

In 2000, he worked at the “Zahmat” enterprise, and in 2005–2006, he worked as a legal adviser at “Star LTD” LLC. In 2006, he worked as a lawyer at the Ganja Auditors Organization, and in 2006–2009, he held the position of legal adviser at the State Real Estate Registry. In 2009, he was a chief legal adviser at the State Committee on Property Affairs, and in 2010–2012, he was a legal adviser at the “Icherisheher” State Historical and Architectural Reserve.

In 2012–2013, he worked as a chief adviser in the Legal Expertise Sector; in 2013–2016, as head of that sector; in 2016–2018, as deputy head and head of the Legal and Control Department; and in 2018–2019, as head of the Legal and Internal Control Department. In 2019–2024, he was head of the Administration of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, and from 2024 to 2026, he was First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources.

On February 10, 2026, he was appointed Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan by Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
