Nadir Azer oglu Zeynalov

He was born on October 24, 1976, in Baku. He holds a PhD in Medicine and is an associate professor of surgery.

His professional career has been connected with the Department of Surgical Diseases I of Azerbaijan Medical University: he worked as a clinical resident in 1999–2001, a postgraduate student in 2001–2004, and an assistant in 2005–2013; since 2013, he has served as an associate professor of the same department.

In 2015–2016, he was head of the International Relations Department of Azerbaijan Medical University; in 2016–2019, he served as Vice-Rector for International Relations; and in 2019–2021, he was Head of the Administration of the Ministry of Health. He was appointed Deputy Minister of Health by an Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 3, 2022.

In 1999, he graduated with honours from the I Faculty of General Medicine and Preventive Care of Azerbaijan Medical University. In 2006, he was awarded the academic degree of PhD in Medicine, and in 2021, the academic title of associate professor of surgery.
