Farman Mammad oglu Abbasov

Farman Mammad oglu Abbasov graduated from the Faculty of Law of Baku State University in 1995. From 1995 to 1996, he worked as an investigator in the Investigation Division of the Nakhchivan City Police Department; from 1996 to 2001, as an investigator in the Investigation Group of the Babek District Police Department; and from 2001 to 2007, as a senior investigator in the Investigation Group of the Railway Transport Police Department of Nakhchivan city.

From 2007 to 2013, he was a judge of the Babek District Court of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and since 2013, he has been a judge of the Supreme Court of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. He was relieved of this position in connection with a change of position by a decision of the Milli Majlis dated 24 October 2025.

By an Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 29 October 2025, he was appointed judge and chairman of the Tartar Military Court.
