Biography
Emil Akhmedov was born in 1982.
From 2001 to 2006, he worked as an economist at Zamin Bank Commercial Bank; from 2006 to 2019, he held various managerial positions in the transport sector; and from 2019 to 2025, he served as Head of the Freight Transportation Department of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC. In 2020, he was awarded the honorary title of “Honorary Railway Worker”.
On 11 February 2025, he was appointed Adviser to the Chairman of Baku Metro CJSC. He is currently Deputy Chairman of the Management Board.
