Afqan Suleyman oglu Jalilov

Afqan Jalilov was born in 1978.

From 2002 to 2005, he worked in the Market Operations Department of the National Bank. From 2005 to 2013, he served as Head of the Methodology Department, Director of the Development Department and Chief Executive Officer for Financial Control at “AGBank” OJSC; from 2013, as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board; and from 2016 to 2020, as Chairman of the Management Board. From 2021 to 2023, he served as Chairman of the Management Board of “Azərpoçt” LLC under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport. On October 30, 2023, he was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the State Maritime and Port Agency, and subsequently served as acting Chairman of the agency’s Management Board.

By an order of the President dated November 7, 2024, he was appointed a member of the Supervisory Board of the Azerbaijan Transport and Communications Holding. By an order of the President dated January 16, 2026, he was appointed Chairman of the Management Board of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Closed Joint-Stock Company.
