Biography
Bahruz Bahramov was born on 8 April 1982.
From 2006 to 2014, he worked in the Investment and Risk Management Departments of the State Oil Fund as a trader, senior risk analyst, senior trader and portfolio manager. From 2014 to 2016, he served as Deputy Director of the Risk Management Department, and from 2016 to 1 September 2020, as director of that department. From 2020 to 12 June 2024, he served as adviser to the Executive Director.
On 12 June 2024, he was appointed Deputy Executive Director of the State Oil Fund by presidential decree.
He holds Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CPIM) certifications. He speaks English, Russian, Turkish and French. He is married and has one child.
