Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil Pinto has expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its solidarity following the devastating earthquake that struck his country. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the minister shared his appreciation via a post on the social media platform X.
"The government of Venezuela expresses its gratitude for the message of condolences and solidarity addressed to our people by the Republic of Azerbaijan," the minister stated.
It should be noted that the earthquake in Venezuela has resulted in significant casualties, with at least 164 people confirmed dead and nearly 1,000 others injured. This expression of support highlights the ongoing diplomatic relations between Baku and Caracas, which have strengthened in recent years through cooperation within international frameworks, including the Non-Aligned Movement, where both nations have actively collaborated on global issues.
