US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan are scheduled to sign a memorandum of understanding in Yerevan today.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, this was stated in an official release by the US Department of State.
"US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will participate in the signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Yerevan," the statement noted.
The signing of this memorandum comes amid ongoing diplomatic engagements in the South Caucasus region. Over the recent period, international mediators, including the United States, have been actively involved in supporting regional stability and facilitating dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan to achieve a sustainable peace agreement.
