US President Donald Trump said the military conflict with Iran would be fully resolved soon and that Washington had neutralized Tehran’s nuclear capabilities.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that, in an interview with CBS Austin, Trump claimed Iran no longer poses a nuclear threat to the United States. He said the imminent end of military operations would also have a positive impact on global energy markets, causing oil prices to fall sharply.

“They are being devastated right now. Once the conflict ends — and that will happen very quickly, soon — oil prices will come down,” the US president said.

Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian held a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin. During the conversation, the two sides stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral strategic cooperation between Moscow and Tehran and making joint diplomatic efforts to ensure regional stability.
