Traffic congestion has been reported on several major roads across Baku, impacting the flow of vehicles during peak hours.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Intelligent Transport Management Center (ITMC) has released an official update regarding the current traffic situation in the capital.
As of the latest monitoring, traffic density is observed in the following locations:
- Baku-Sumgait highway, in the direction of the "20 January" metro station;
- 1st Lake Side Road, in the direction of Ziya Bunyadov Avenue;
- 8 November Avenue, from the intersection with Suleyman Ahmadov Street toward the city center;
- Afiyaddin Jalilov Street, in the direction of Yusif Safarov Street;
- Tbilisi Avenue, from the "20 January" metro station toward the city center.
The Intelligent Transport Management Center regularly monitors traffic flow in Baku to optimize urban mobility and reduce congestion. Drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance and consider alternative roads to avoid delays, as the city continues to manage increasing vehicular traffic associated with its ongoing urban development and population growth.
