Tottenham decide against signing Mauro Icardi

Tottenham will not sign former Galatasaray forward Mauro Icardi, according to reports.

Operative Information Center-OMM reported, citing Football Insider.

Reports had earlier suggested that the English club was considering the possibility of adding the 33-year-old to its squad.

However, according to the source, Tottenham has decided against signing Icardi.

Galatasaray was Icardi’s most recent club

The Argentine forward, who is currently a free agent, most recently played for Turkish club Galatasaray. Icardi represented the Istanbul side from 2022 to 2026.

During that period, he made 134 appearances in all competitions, scoring 77 goals and providing 25 assists.

Icardi has also played for clubs including Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain. As a striker, he has been known for his finishing and positioning inside the penalty area.
