Three new advisors appointed to TABIB executive director

Three new advisors have been appointed to the Executive Director of the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB) in Azerbaijan. According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, Ramil Mukhtarzade, Tohfa Jamilova, and Bahadur Rzayev have been named to the positions to bolster the organization's management team.

Ramil Mukhtarzade previously served as the head of the Strategic Development and Economic Analysis Department at the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance since 2023. Tohfa Jamilova has held several senior positions, including head of the Strategic Planning, Coordination, and Implementation Control Department at the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency. Bahadur Rzayev most recently served as an advisor to the Chairman of the Board at the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency, having previously led its Rehabilitation, Quality Control, and Service Organization Department.

TABIB, which oversees the management of public medical institutions in Azerbaijan, plays a central role in the implementation of the country's mandatory health insurance system. These latest appointments are viewed as a step toward enhancing the administrative capacity and strategic planning of the agency as it continues to modernize the national healthcare infrastructure. The organization remains a key entity under the healthcare reforms designed to improve medical service accessibility and quality across the Republic of Azerbaijan.
