Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has sent a congratulatory letter to his Azerbaijani counterpart, President Ilham Aliyev, on the occasion of the country's Independence Day.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the message states:
"Your Excellency,
It is my pleasure to convey my sincerest congratulations to Your Excellency, the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and its friendly people on the occasion of your country's Independence Day.
This significant national holiday reflects the resilience and achievements of the Azerbaijani people.
The Federal Republic of Somalia highly values its friendly relations with the Republic of Azerbaijan and looks forward to further developing bilateral cooperation for the mutual benefit of our peoples.
