Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense said Wednesday that the danger had passed in the southwestern province of Najran after it earlier warned of a “potential danger,” Anadolu Agency reported.
In a statement on “X,” the Civil Defense urged residents to continue following its instructions and to “avoid gathering and filming.”
The warning was the second alert issued for Najran Province on Wednesday. Earlier, Saudi authorities had issued a warning for Riyadh Province and later announced that the danger there had passed.
The alerts came amid escalating hostilities between the Houthi group and the Saudi-led coalition supporting Yemen’s internationally recognized government.
Saudi Arabia has faced repeated missile and drone attacks by the Houthis in recent weeks.
