Sabah FC will dedicate one of the stands at its new home stadium, Sabah Arena, to residents of Masazyr. The “Masazyr Stand” will be located at the arena in Mardakan.
The club said it wants to thank Masazyr residents for supporting the team over many years. In a social media post, Sabah said fans had shared the team’s joy, sorrow and victories over the years.
The post said the “Masazyr Stand” would symbolize residents’ love and loyalty to the club at its new stadium. The club said its values would remain unchanged despite the move.
Sabah previously played its home matches at Bank Respublika Arena in Masazyr. The team will now host its opponents at Sabah Arena in Mardakan.
