Russia’s Defense Ministry said its forces struck two cargo ships overnight at the port of Chornomorsk on Ukraine’s Black Sea coast, Interfax news agency reported.
According to the Russian statement, strikes also hit the Zaporizhstal steel producer in Zaporizhzhia, the Interpipe Steel complex in Dnipro and several facilities in Kryvyi Rih.
The statement said the facilities in Kryvyi Rih included the Northern Iron Ore Processing Plant.
The information released by Russia’s Defense Ministry has not been independently confirmed.
The reported incidents came as Russia and Ukraine exchanged claims of drone attacks targeting infrastructure amid the ongoing war.
